Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be able to code?
No, editing a WordPress website is very easy. If you can edit a Word document and find your way around Facebook you have all the skills you need.
Do I need any special software?
No software is needed, everything can be done through the website itself. Where sofware can make it easier, we’ll show you FREE software that can help.
Who owns the website?
You do, WordPress is open source, this means you are free to use the platform, and you’ll create the content. So it’s entirely up to you what you do with the site, and where you host it.
What is a subdomain?
We’ll set you up with a website address such as “businessname.apwebsites.co.uk” which you’ll be able to use as long as we host the website, if you would rather use your own domain we can help you register one. A .co.uk domain with 123-reg will cost ~ £10 per year.
What happens after 6 months?
At the end of 6 months you have 3 options. Cancel the site, move it to another host of your choice, or keep the site with us. If you choose to keep the site with us, we’ll charge you a hosting fee of £5 per month.
